Suspension is bc coilovers with camber plates archers have been rolled and stretched not sure if they have been cut
Wheels are a bit ilegal i think
i've just bought a cheap set today im going to shot on and sell the Borbets i think
ive also bought some fishnet recaros in going to fit soon as well

Cool car. But shame about the wheels. I know some people want to make a statement. But they IMO they look dreadful. No ifs not buts. A bit like a mohawk. They are just so out of balance with the rest of the car.

The dish is very 90’s and whilst I still love the wheel face design, the dish is too much for the car.

I bet they are still worth quite a lot of cash to the right buyer though.

I would have been tempted to try and get a set without the massive dish.

I love the look of the cool borbets, real 90's gloss!
I just don't know if I could live with the ride, probably messed up dynamics and probable arch rubbing.
Maybe keep them for shows if that's your thing!

Good to see that you are thinking of changing the wheels OP. I just think that the style is a bit dated, late 1990s / early 2000s, I think they would have been high fashion.

I’d go with a set of standard cross spoke BBS, as would have been fitted to a 325i Sport (not even splits, which I think are also dated). I might also revert the lights back to standard.

The rest of the car looks fantastic and I think the 2.8 engine is absolutely the icing on the cake. OEM looks, maybe a cheeky little drop, and an engine upgrade.
