Mg zr festering in my garage

Ok guys just been in my garage for the first time in a year ,what would you do with this scrap it or get it going ,

Short story bought a golf r32 about 4-5 years ago and put mg in garage still there with a full service kit belts and all in boot ,come on r32 against mg diesel





Shall I get a battery or scrap the bag of st





Just found these on shelf

Something to get into now on longer nights or just get the 100 odd scrap what you reckon peeps,

Could tow it to llandough and blow it up on the track or use it and give the r32 some TLC it is on 145k now

Is it a diesel or petrol? I’m sure I read diesel but difficult to tell in your post. 🤪 If it’s a petrol it might sell. I had a 105+ and would love another cheap one to hoon about in. Fragile engine and cheap interior aside they are very drivable cars.

Diesel it is ,I used to love tinkering years ago in my younger days when I’d buy a bag of st and have to maintain it ,think I’ll have a go and get it started-see what’s up for an mot ,TBH my golf r32 needs a bit of TLC so could do with a something to run about in

Definitely put it back on the road. Stick a set of SDI injectors in it, maybe a front mount intercooler and get a Zeetech map. They go well when sorted, and sound quite meaty. A friend had one, it was a good laugh.

If it’s not too involved, get it up and running again. They’re a fairly amusing car to drive with the L-Series, I had use of a van version for a while years back and thought it was great.

I have read about the sdi injectors ,I also linked out 1&5 with a paper clip on the maf plug when I had running problems?that was mad
