Impulsive corolla t sport purchase!

Those of you who have read my past readers ride threads will know I've had a unhealthy obsession with suzuki ignis sports for the last three years. Unfortunately as much as I love them 110 ponies just doesn't cut it enough anymore. I did look into forced induction but lack of spare time and the necessary funds put a stop to that.
I've got a Toyota aygo on a pcp deal as a daily for £69 a month for the next two years so it left me with a sizeable chunk of money to play with each month and a space in my unit.
Que this unexpected purchase today. Had my last one over 10 yrs ago and loved it. Eventually the economy got the better of me and I went back to diesel. I'll give it a good going over next week in work and see what shape its in. The only thing that let my lst one down was the standard suspension.

Looks like you got a bargain there. I've had my facelift version for 3 weeks now.
Brilliant little cars, really enjoying mine.
Mines on a stock exhaust but fancying an upgrade, bet yours sounds great.
Have you experienced lift yet ?

That's suprising, I found they sold within days of being advertised. Mine popped up on eBay on Friday and I bought Saturday.I paid £1700 for mine 55 plate with 120k on yhr clock, totally standard but front and rear bumpers faded.
They seem to go for anything £1k to £2k depending on age, condition and mileage so (unless yours is an early high miler) I'd say you are in the right ballpark price wise

Thank you. Mt first was a face-lift model. This is very noisey. Not given it too much stick yet made sure lift was working on the test drive. Brilliant little cars, really enjoying mine.

Ill probably just get a typhoon induction kit and get a quieter exhaust if it's a keeper. Just wana give it a once over in work make sure there's no looming big bills then just enjoy it for a bit

For me atleast rust is a concern on cars of this age and was one of the few items on my list of things which would put me off.
That aside it looks a good buy

We used to have one and I had a lot of fun with it. My one tip would be don't give it too much death on a very hot day, mine died
Do keep an eye on them for sale as if one came up at a super bargain price I'm half tempted to grab another for fun.
