Hi all

So I have had my 280 for a good while now.

So far it has had a stage 1 map, powered dogbone mount and Michellin Pilot Sport 4S.

The result is quite substantial. Measured on my Torque App with ODB plugin these are the stats (I don't think they are too far off as these are consistent):

0-60 5.1s (still can't launch the thing)
40-60 1.7s
60-80 1.9s

Going to Cadwell next week. Will see how it gets on

Update 20/07/2019

Cadwell:

In summary - needs much better brake cooling. After a lap they were shot and smoking.

In addition the wheel nuts kept coming loose!

Other than me being a newbie at Cadwell it was good !

Do these not have Launch Control with DSG like the Golf and A3/S3?

Nice car however I can assure you that you aren't getting 5.1 secoonds 0-60.

Get a dragy box if you want to record your times accurately although the Leon isn't known for it's 0-60 times.

Try 60-100 mph and 100-200 kph

Updated main thread.

To the above poster agree it can't be massively accurate. However when you factor in the powerflex mount (in effect anti lift), MPS4S (not out when the car was launched) and the extra 100bhp then gicen that stock is 5.6 low 5s should be expected ?

Similar spec to mine although I have Conti Sport contact 5's which aren't as good as the PS4S (ST springs, powerflex mount, JB4, Forge intake pipe, panel filter and snow grate removed and res delete)

I found the 0-60 time was better when at standard power (I managed 5.5). Launch control is a waster of time

Get yourself a dragy box, it's interesting to see the 60-100 mph and 100-200 kph times.

Are you on the mk3 Leon Cupra Owners Club?

I have one with all of the above , LC is a waste of time . Once rolling its pretty formidable with short ratios (4th tops out at 108ish) and 270bhp/tonne ish.
Cars with high boost hybrid turbos will do the 100-200 draggy figure under 7 and in about 440m all on standard internals including cams.

When these things get readily available for under 10k and its not far off , they will be the new tomcat / fiat coupe turbos...
