This is my Morgan Aero Supersports. Had it over a year and still not sure its better than my Series 1 Aero 8 - with the squint headlights!

Sensational looking, and a much rarer sight than any Aero.

Exquisite.

I cannot comment on the driving comparisons as I have only driven an Aero.

Thats lovely. Can you show us a bit more detail please ? Dos the roof section fit into the rear storage ? Some pics would be appreciated.

The squint eyed model - I cannot believe they launched that car with 'eyes' like that. I just couldn't buy one because of that look, I am afraid.

I'm glad you like it, but to my eyes that back end is ugly.

Then again the aero was ugly from the front, so whatever floats your boat

The rear lights look like they’re off a Lancia Thesis?

Having trouble loading other photos as they are too large !
The car has the BMW 4.8 litre V8 in it so even with the auto gearbox its extremely fast upto legal speeds! The downside is the "feel" of the steering - not so good as the old series 1.
The roof comes off in two sections and have a special bag for them in the boot.
Downside is the amount of questions when pulling in the petrol station for fuel, namely "what kit car is that"!
For some reason Morgan decided to go badgeless at the rear!

They do indeed come off the Lancia Thesis and the story is that the designer at Morgan designed the whole rear end around them!!

Side exhausts were an option - I believe at no additional cost. To be honest it sounds good with the exhausts at the rear!
Sorry, no photos of the boot - it is hinged near to the rear window and is vast - for the type of car it is! The petrol tank is central and located at the front of the boot. The boot lid is lined in the same leather as the cockpit .

Morgan wanted to use the “new “ mini lights when they launched the Aero 8 around 2000 but BMW refused so they ended with vw beetle ones and hence the “squint”. The later aero 8’s and subsequent variations had the mini lights which corrected the squint! The early ones are very much a “marmite” decision!

Just love the bonkers design; truly unique and utterly beguiling. Strangely, the headlights look a bit squinty in the three quarter view to me, but not from the front. Unless it’s my eyes that are squinty
