Hi all,

I've been creating videos on YouTube for the em1 budget build and eg rebuild! Any recommendations or ideas would be welcome! Let me know!

Here's the eg6, like I say it's had everything touched, ad08r tyres, mugen rnr reps, 282mm front and 260mm rear discs, braided lines, hawk hp+ pads, poly bushed everything, dc2 steering rack and 98 spec front and rear roll bars, bc racing coilovers, 10kg/6kg, lower strut braces front and rear, h22a swapped with innovative mounts, custom axles, lightweight fidanza flywheel, OEM lsd front the accord type r gearbox fitted, 3inch straight through exhaust and plenty more I can't remember..

The EM1 is a budget build as I say and the mods bar the rear silencer and intake are mostly aesthetic.

Good to see an EG6 on here

Years back I had an EG6 SiR-S that I imported from Japan; it was a belting machine and only sold it because a Pirates Black ATR came up for sale via one of the guys on the Honda forums and I couldn’t resist

That's a good reason to swap out a eg6 👍 always loved that colour, my cousin had 2 atrs and one was an absolute rot box! To the point where when he needed to tow it, the support vehicle set off with a piece of the accord chassis 😂 it was a right lump as well and the only solid part was the tow eye itself that the chain went through

Love the EG, I've had a DC2 and a DC5 but I've always wanted an EG, or at least drive a sorted one.

Yeah the eg is special, I've had a go of the ep3, em1, ek, accord type r and prelude vti. But the eg is just so much more fun!

We had an EG6 VTi back in the '90s, one of the cars I really miss. Would still have it, except an old g!t in a Clio side swiped it & wrote it off. Wife still misses it, her favourite.

You and your wife have good taste.. As for the oap that hit it, his car choice is questionable haha

Cheers, she was driving at the time, he ran a roundabout & they met in the middle - hit the nearside rear panel so hard the outer edge was flush with the inner edge of the tyre furious spun her 180 degrees & then tried to make out she was in the wrong - didn't work out for him though wink

Very cool - love the styling of the EG, long and low, the double wishbones all round, the split tailgate... something special in the hatchback class.

Yeah; it was a great car but it only lasted 3 months with me... Someone took me out in their BMW E39 728i Sport and it all went downhill from there laugh I had to have one and the SiR-S was the last of my Honda ownership...

The only thread I can find related to it is here: https://www.hondacivicforum.co.uk/28-photos-videos...
