Bought Chrysler Voyager MK3 + How not to advertise a car?

I was winning bidder of this car on a certain auction site.

Winning bid was 360 notes.
The add was "very basic" with no interior pics.
It's a 3.3 petrol, which I'm thinking of converting to lpg.
It has the two middle seats missing.
Car was picked up from Ilford on the 5th just gone. There are no dents but it has a few scratches.
The interior is quite tidy and is complete with all the buttons ect, with everything working! So, i'm quite happy with the car, apart from the one issue.
Can you spot the issue in this pic?



I don't have a clue when it was last serviced. There is no service history with it.

Has it had the middle B pillar chopped out? Looks like the front seat only has a lap seat belt, maybe it’s were the ford B max and Vauxhall mariva got their inspiration

I'm guessing previously had some sort of mobility access conversion done on it?

I’d take all but the drivers seat out, I can’t imagine anyone wanting to get in it with you.

i'll be honest, I wouldn't touch that thing with a bargepole with the whole pillar missing...i'd probably just scrap it or break it for parts, not sure how you'd get it insured either...I hope you haven't already!

I genuinely wouldn't risk anyone I cared about in that thing. Absolute disaster waiting to happen. Scrap it and move on.

Who will insure it?Surely any normal insurer is going to either decline it or demand some expensive engineers report? (and then decline it).

My thoughts too, which is a shame because it really is in a lot better condition than I thought it would be.
motorwise offered £216 for scrap, plus the reg plate is worth at least £400.

I honestly Can’t believe they’ve literally removed the pillar without any extra support .

There probably is support in there. It passed its mot in that condition since it was converted.

For the plate and minimum scrap value. But when I saw it I was thinking I could do something about the missing pillar because it really is in very good condition.

is it really worth anything i mean the plate what 50 quid and scrap 200 quid. The problem is with converted cars no one wants them 2nd hand.

I got a plate valuation for at least $400. There are those who love the number 13

Swap the $ for £

Plate valuations are always over hyped - they’re not guaranteeing you’ll get anything like that. It’s barely worth the transfer fee.

Scrap/break it and move on
