Advice sought.
OLD CAR - FABIA 1.4 MPI SO LONG OLD SAUNA
This post is bit belated as in January last year, my much abused 1.4 black Fabia- no functional aircon, no electric windows was sold to a stude who reckoned he was interested in engineering. Fair play to him. To be honest, I thought he'd ask me for 20 notes to take my poor Fabia away.
ABOUT NEW 2nd HAND GOLF EVO 130 Tsi manual
Any enough of the life and times of Grizzly Fabia. Back to main subject.
I bought a golf 130bhp evo tsi 8 months old for £16k which i thought wasnt too bad. I really like:
1 electric windows - i know, i'm easily pleased :-)
2 it drives silky smooth, luuuush
3 cruise control for a manual car
- i wanted manual as i didnt the cost and inconvenience of farting about with services for an auto gearbox fluid change which vws need apparently
4 the automatic spacing and braking function. Its handy but imperfect. You can alter the space but even on the closest setting some turkey will still undertake to so they can be 1 car ahead in a queue and chog up your lungs with a fat pipe and deafen with the vibrations. Also it does pick up other lane intentions. Eg in manual, you see some car shuffle a little in the next lane and you ease of the accelerator a bit. 9/10 he moves out. The spacer doesnt recognise the other lane shiffles and only brakes when the fella breached your lane resulting in heavier braking which is a bit of pain, still its in case you have a microsleep or some such.

The only thing missing from the 130bhp evo variant is i'd like is to the bottom cornering lights.
ADVICE SOUGHT PLEASE
Can i retrofit these and get them to operate from the existing lightswitch?
Do i need some sort of harness addition.
While the lights are easy to come by, it seems harder see anything harness wise on ebay, europarts.., especially for an integrated (with existing switch's) harness. Any good sources?
