Have owned for the guts of 7 months and knew very early on it was a keeper. Had the DSG oil and 4 Motion oil taken care of as soon as I had the keys as that was due, then had the chrome window trim wrapped in black. Not long after I had the centre box removed as the muffling was far too effective! I’ll be having a cat back carried out in the new year though, I feel it needs ever so slightly larger cans as the stock look a bit lost on either side.

The shocks and springs were replaced with these B8’s which are certainly firm, but it’s a small price to pay for what feels like brisker acceleration!

I'm no fan of VAG's, but that looks awesome.

Got to tip your hat to anyone running a 3.6 V6 these days...!

I did! Was and wasn’t after one of these at the time, had several motors I was open to but when this appeared, the mileage and condition won me over. Pretty easily too I might add laugh

If I’m not mistaken there isn’t another (non import) wagon for sale at the moment, and there hasn’t been for a while. Most importantly though, it’s a wonderful daily.

Nice!

Reminds of the Passat W8 my uncle had. It was quite lovely to drive until the transmission / 4motion packed up at low miles.

My barge is a 3.6 V6 passat cc. I thought the gearbox/haldex/4motion system was on the way out, despite a compete fluid change. It used to lurch and clunk at low speeds, so much so i used "sport" mode whenever i was in traffic.
Last week I changed the tyres from some old budgets to Goodyear eagle AS5 all round now its beautifully smooth. It's like a new car.
