Good evening everyone and a happy new year to all. It has been a while from me! Recently had to get a new phone so thought I'd put some pictures up of my V6.

In 2018 I went over to the Nurburgring with a good chum. I was in the process of buying my first flat so was supposed to be a possible fair well to the Clio but I quickly realised I just couldn't do it, and fell in love with her once more.

My Uncle sadly passed away, so myself, brother, cousin and my best friend done the North Coast 500 in his S-Type before it was sadly sold. Was great fun and it was a rule to dress like we were from the antique road show. I was also very fortunate to get the plate from his car which is now on the V6. Very proud of this. smile

Last year we took on part of NC500 again but cut across part of it. We essentially done the Grand Tour route. Weather was horrendous in July! really gutting.

Then a few more random pictures from last year mainly. Managed to get the car into a few classic car shows.

Arrived early for this one and was stuck right in the corner frown interesting here as I later opened the front bonnet and removed the engine covers, interest really picked up after this!

Owned a lovely Mk5 GTI but had to sell and currently have a VW Up! :race: all in the aim of keeping the V!

It looks like you've had some great trips in your Clio.

But I just love the family tribute to your uncle doing the NC500 in his S-Type - class. thumbup

Thanks for the comments, was really sad to have sold the Jag. Only had around 22k on the clock, 3.0 V6 but was needing a lot of work, mainly the body (as you can tell) then it was left for a few months and think the fuel lines/pump had it.

Very sad as the inside was lovely!

Everytime I see a phase 1 just reminds how stupid a decision I made wussing out of buying one a few years ago.

I don't think there's a petrolhead on the planet that dislikes these. Great buy, you'll love it!

Wonderful.

Out of interest, how difficult is it to retrofit the suspension from the PH2 to sort the handling 'characteristics'?

I think I prefer the PH1 to look at, but with the PH2 interior!

Lovely car. I had that era of Clio as my first car, albeit in 1.2 guise. So love these V6s.
Number plate is pretty cool. A nice touch that you’re keeping it going. Might be worth a bit too.
