Hey Guys, been lurking the forum for a while and wanted to share a few pics and details of my currently in progress project car.

Let's start with the engine build, 'cause that's where it all started.

Mid/Late 90's BMW M62B44 (4.4L V8) shortblock.

Early 90's M60B40 4.0L heads & cams, claimed to have slightly larger valves and bigger cams then the native 4.4L heads.

Late 90's Jaguar supercharger, water-air intercoolers and fuel injection. Sitting on adapters to bolt to the BMW heads.

Collecting parts for the Tbucket:

70's Jaguar independent rear end:

Mid 90's Getrag 420G 6spd manual from an BMW E34 540i, with single mass lightweight flywheel and 265mm clutch

Thanks for sticking it out with me thus far, this is where I'm currently at with the project. 2 years in the works and my plan is to get it running and driving mid this year. As you can see it's just a series of small projects from this point out.

Be sure to check back for updates, and hopefully a running video soon.

That is awesome! Will be a real handful I’m sure. You’ll need MASSIVE testes to floor that thing.

I’m assuming it’ll be around the 350hp range? It’s not going to weigh much either!

Epic project, can’t wait to see the finished product. cool

Wow. What a build. Most definitely going to be a proper handful. Love it!

Thank you, I was really aiming for 400hp without the nitrous. Naturally aspirated the engine makes 282hp /310tq, given a rough 46% increase of output with a supercharger that would be 410hp.

great work it looks amazing! I love how low the profile is, a lot of these seem to sit high and look a bit awkward, what is your plan for the steering column? Assume it will be more laid back rather than upright?

What spoils it for me is the 'B' radiator grille. Why not a 'T' rad on a T Bucket?

Sacrilege.

why not an LS or SBC ?

Why bother fabbing the Jag intake when he could have bought off the shelf ?

Its his car, and I fully applaude the originality of thinking in the execution....

not meant to sound snarky btw...
