Hi all.

Just started to use the forum again so thought I'd do a post about my new toy.

Bit of a story behind this car, it was a good friend of mine pride and joy, sadly he passed away in a car accident and the car went to his sister, she was unable to keep up with it after nearly 5 years so I bought it off her. I was jap through and through but this has completely changed my mind.

I can see why people love them for track too, for the money they cost what a car! Done the ring in it and donington and just booked spa for march can not wait!

Anyway less talking more pics haha

Stunning M3, really great spec.
Can you explain the significance of your number plate?
Seen it on so many car stickers around Leeds.
Thank you smile

My friend who owned the car was called david thompson (dave t) this was his plate. He was a legend in wakefield and the yorkshire car scene in general

Nice looking M3.

I was behind a CSL this afternoon which is the first time in a while I've seen one out and about and can't but think they just look so "right".

Thank you.

The CSL is something else isnt it. Theres an old lad near me that has one it literally comes out the garage once a year. Had a look round it the other month and its spotless. Would like to see the difference on track as they are meant to be an animal.

Thank you smile

It does look at home on track doesn't it and I was very surprised how well they go. It's on springs so does need swapping to coilovers soon but other than that it feels so planted, has d2 8pots on the front too stops well.

Plan is to go kw V2 coilovers and maybe a set of 18's square setup for track use but other than that it will stay as it is (in my head anyway) as I use the car daily I dont want to be stripping it out ect..

Nice that. I know CSL wheels have been done to death, but there’s a reason...they look absolutely perfect on the E46.

Beautiful M3 by the way, I don’t miss mine but do love seeing them about on the road, which is getting a lot rarer now.

I'm feeling a wheel change or maybe just go abit darker with them when I get them refurbed

Lisa got it, T's sister but she couldnt keep up with it, we was at pub one day and timos mum asked me if I wanted to buy it, couldnt say no. Its costs me some money getting it right but it's all worth it
