Brand new Ford Mondeo 130TDCi LX 5dr (Euro4) has been delivered this morning in 'Deep Rosso Red' to my office with a mere 15 recorded miles.

I know it's not brilliant, but it's my first brand new co. car and I'm happy! :)

I'd post a pic but the new co. camera phone to go with it won't send messages.....

PH and rainbow stickers to be added soon.

Terrific engine in that thing. Brother has a Focus with the same engine and with 10,000 miles on it now it is fast, economical and really refined. No point in a petrol...

Yep, someone had a surprise in a Merc C220CDi on saturday night. Went past me just before the national limit sign and found they couldn't lose me over the snake pass - eventually let me past.

So by the rainbow sticker comment i'm guessing that i'm not the only gay in the Pistonheads village?

Nice car the Mondeo, my bf has a 2004 Mondeo Ghia X TDCi 130 estate auto, I think the auto's are a bit more "dieselly" than the manuals (going on the courtesy car that we had a while back) and certainly more thirsty (under 30mpg in general use). At least yours isnt silver, we refer to them as fishy smells.

I have a 2003 tdci 130 LX, again, not sexy but a very good car for high milages. Can shift when it needs to and can embarrass the 320d crowd quite easily. Lends itself to a tuning box quite easily but as a company car I doubt that you would bother. Try using BP ultimate Diesel if you can stretch to it. It runs quieter and smoother on it.

Oh, there's quite a number. I'm rather more 'out and proud' than most!

Car now has 1800 miles, doing about 45mpg on mixed use, seems to be loosening up nicely in the process, decently quiet at 1.1 leptons.
Colour was the only option allowed. Out of the 3 choices I put down, none was silver...
