Picked up a new shed at the weekend to replace my current shed which is actually a pretty tidy 2006 Ford Focus.

I didn’t need to replace it, but with an awful lot of house decorating to do and needing something to move some motorbikes around I thought another vehicle was the only option.

The criteria was simple;

Reliable enough to use daily if needed.
Not look crap on the drive.
Big enough for tip runs and collecting various furniture / junk
Comfortable enough for long distance journeys.
Tow bar and working electrics.

A week or so of trawling the web, looking at various BMWs, Volvos, I came across a Honda CRV which didn’t look too shabby and had 12 months MOT. A good look around, a test drive, and all was well and I was on my way home. A casual 195,000 miles, this being the highest mileage car, and cheapest I’ve ever owned having change from £900

Pictures from the advert;

Some things that need attention;
The AC doesn't work - I think the compressor is dead, easy fix.
Nearside Rear Upper Suspension arm needs new bushes as that's knocking, again easy fix.

Other than that we're good to waft around!

Those are pretty reliable but for a few minor niggles. If you know your way around it, it just about to hit its half-life.

Tidy. I often look at these and the rav 4 for shed running. I had the H-RV for a while which was great fun, the kids still miss it.

I don't know what it is about these but I absolutely love them.

It's the table in the back that does it for me - genius!
