Yes, it's a stupid name to start a first RC thread, but when you see it you'll get why it's called it!

I don't post or log on much, but have been around a while and still lurk a fair bit. I never did a RC thread for the TVR when I had it, but have been drawn to this little corner of PH for some time and thought I'd share my "new to me" car, as it's the first that's been worthy in a while - a slight dis-service to the old barge of a C5 I had, as it did exactly what it said on the tin.

So, LOL-Headz is a 2011 BMW 330d E91 LCI M-Sport Manual that I've recently acquired from "best mate". We've known each other since we were 11 yo and I've known the car all the time he's had it - 2nd owner (I'm 3rd), treated with kid gloves, Police advanced driver, but he had an M3 itch to scratch, otherwise he'd still have it. Done deal smile

What a seriously great car to own, it is powerful and can surprise other more exotic metal out there. I'm still getting to know it really, but so far so good.

Likes:
Pretty much everything biggrin
Performance is intoxicating, for a diesel it shifts, great handling too
Manual box
twin sunroof
the way the rear glass pops up so you don't have to open the full tailgate
The amount of space when you fold the seats - easy to do btw and they fold flat - I can get a road bike in no worries

Dislikes:
Not much - my only real gripe (as was my mates) is that weirdly whoever got the car first didn't get Bluetooth on the head unit, which considering there are phone controls on the steering wheel, doesn't make sense - at some point I may look into how to address this.

I probably won't be doing much to it, except trying to keep it clean and maintained - if I can get it to work, some pictures may follow!

Lovely car smile

One of these (or a 335i or even a 335d) are on my radar for my next car, if I decide to 'downsize' from my currently E39 touring

Le Mans Blue too; gorgeous colour cool

Although; what's that weird stick up front in the middle for?! winkbiggrin

Looks good. A genuine BMW weighted gearknob (E46 shape not E90) will make the gearchange feel a lot better.

you can retrofit bluetooth but its a pain

you are better off getting a normal bluetooth stereo and a' connects' kits, we did this with our 1 series

Re Bluetooth; could look into something like this: https://gromaudio.co.uk/grom-audio-mst3-integratio...

I've got their BT3 kit in my E39 touring and it's superb, works really well etc
