Congrats on a lovely phase 1!

My favourite trick with the 5s was lifting the inside rear wheel in tight bends - surprisingly easy!

that is mint!

Not he usual crisp packet ripple panels you see on most 5 T's

Used to have a RAIDER and loved it for many years - what gets me is the car is so tunable for so little money.

Already is and will continue to be an icon. KEEP IT!

shes a real beaut, drive like new, quiet as a modern car and really is a joy to own, i was considering sellling but in this colour pearl in this condition, i may be losing on a real good investment, shes not driven hard at all (cant bring myself to rev it) she comes out only in the dry or shes in the carcoon. 25k miles, it still has the new scent! it hasnt got a single piece of rust on her, ANYwhere the original owner wax oiled it with 5 miles on the clock. so its absoloutly mint, a piece of history really! he used it only to go back and forth to go to his house in cornwall from the west mids. unfortunatly the gu couldnt afford to maintain it anymore, thank god i got it and not a boyracer who would have stripped it of it rarity!! glad you all like!! thanx!

I hardly see any R5's anymore.
I'd really love to do the same in the future & get a mint phase 2.

Fantastic! The first car I ever bought was a GT Turbo in Arctic White with red carpets. Fabulous little cars! There was a Raider around my neck of the woods in the classic dark blue with R5 GTT as the reg - I was very jealous!

Fantastic to see a standard R5 GT Turbo, working in Essex I get to see a lot of modified ones that quit frankly shouldn't be out there.

Just thought you all might like to see see photo's that I've acquired over the years... www.simmo.com/racing.htm
