A long time browser, but finally with something worth posting. My car history has been pretty varied, MG TF, Merc CLK, E46 M3, EP3 Type-R F82 M4 Coupe ... However, after relocating to the Middle East I have landed with a 2016 McLaren 570S.
Some pics before the boring part:
When I got the car it was in need of some TLC, and there were some choice window tints that made it impossible to see anything in the dark, a very poor PPFthat looked like it had been fitted by a 4 year old child and the wheels had been powder coated with a straw and an asthmatic pensioner and some dodgy red stripes here and there:

So first thing first was to get the tints, PPF and red off the car. I went with a 'stealth' ppf wrap which has a matt finish and I took some inspiration from the GT3 and decided on bronze/gold wheels. Here is the final result (minus the badge I am waiting for from the UK):

All in all the car is amazing, and on a different level to anything I have ever owned. Luckily the previous owner was kind enough to take care of the depreciation for me, however the first 8 weeks have definitely not been a cheap affair and I on first word terms with the local McLaren workshop ...
The tracking was out slightly, and the car felt pretty unstable at high speeds, but that was quickly sorted. I was aware of a small leak when I purchased the car, and the inspection had mentioned it was a hose which didn't worry me too much - however I ended up needing a new front radiator. A quick oil change and inspecting and I decided to go for a 12 month warranty after getting introduced to McLaren part and labour costs!
