Afternoon,

Thought I would chuck a few photos up of my My new to me Superb 280 L&K Hatch in Jungle Green. A fairly unusual colour, but at least its not silver and all I have had is positive comments so far.

I am enjoying the power and toys - the ride is a bit odd with DCC and 19's but I think its mainly the roads fault - on a good one it rides well. I've not had a TV in a car since the analogue signal was turned off way back when I had my first E39 which is a novelty also.

Looks great. At first glance you’ve got to wonder why you would go for Audi or VW over one of these? Are they a similar drive?

Like these. Interior in cream is a great place to sit. The Laurin and Klement kit list is mega - as good as an Audi with all the options ticked.
Petrol 280 with auto estate is one of my next 'possibles' - do keep the thread going smile

That looks really smart. The best car of the current VAG range I reckon.

Wonderful cars. I had a go in one of these when they were new. A Sportline 280 in that Yellow/Green. Really liked it, and came with a great amount of kit for not a lot of money compared to the competition. Good buy.

Congrats on a lovely looking car. The paint/interior combo are fantastic. It also manages to look a bit understated compared to other big saloons, which is massively in its favour to me.

That looks fantastic. The interior looks a lovely place to be.
Certainly a unique colour, I don't recall ever seeing one like it on the road before. I'm sure it shifts well with that engine too smile

Thanks, I've had estates for years (still a Mk1 Octavia vRS estate as well actually) but didn't want another for my daily company car / work duties. This is big enough in the boot!

Never! This is my daily car for work duties, the E39 is my once in a blue moon car to look at in the garage.

I suspect not, it drives like a stretched Golf with soft suspension and assume Audi's are a bit better. VW though, probably the same and I guess the Arteon has a slightly better screwed together cabin.

I wanted a Dragon Green car but missed out on one and thought the L&K spec actually better suited my needs with Lane Guidance, Blind Spot Assist, Reversing Camera etc etc.

Anyone that knows me will know I love a pointless modification that no one else will notice, so I thought I would apply some tinting film to the centre of the rear lights. It is more noticeable in person (I promise) and makes the lights match the front a bit more as they are totally black upfront.

I may fit a Sportline rear lip spoiler, but in body colour rather than gloss black to finish. The rear wiper will also be going as it spoils the 'saloon' ish looks and looks like too much of an afterthought to me.
