That poor car! But if the saying about things happening in threes is true, you should be fine now, hopefully!

It will be a lovely car once again so hang in there. Loved my ‘89 2.7, probably one of my fave cars owned. Sunroof leak will probably be the panel seal and/or drain holes need clearing. Not too difficult. I didn’t have leaks through the hatch. Might the hatch pins need adjusting downwards?

Bon courage, OP. It's a cool car in a good colour.

I love these. Stick with it. I particularly like the fabric and leather seats, they really make one feel like pulling on a pair of driving gloves, with string backs and just setting off!

I am really tempted as my next car

All the best with the car. I’ve got a 1989 2.7, actually I’ve got an early and late offset car but use the late offset more regularly, so can appreciate the problems these can throw up.

At least with a new wing you can get some rust proofing in the bottom there, mine rotted out significantly a few years back, an absolute crud trap in there.

Looks lovely that! I had an oval dash for a while. Bought it off the dodgiest back street car dealer you could imagine for £1,500 about 8/9 years ago. Knew nothing about them other than Porsche = cool. Ran it for a while, sold it needing a fair bit of work. Ended up buying it back again about 2 or 3 months later, having had all the work done, for the same price I sold it for. hehe

Had factory sill covers on, and they were hiding a monumental amount of rot. Sills go from the inside out, despite being galvanised from factory. As far as I know it's dead somewhere, awaiting restoration or worse.
