I have more or less completed my MK1 and MK2 Escorts.
MK2 has been finished for a few years now - I say finished but that's a bit of a lie as I still have loads of development work to do. It is powered by a LS1 V8 with approx 400BHP. Search Escort LS1 in Orange on here for the full build.
MK1 has been completed for about 18 months now and is full historic spec 2.1 pinto in Mexico.
Problem is that I still have another Escort to restore, it is a flat front RS2000. I am not sure if I want to do another one! It is 90% complete with several options of engine, gearbox, suspension etc. Do I build it standard or rally spec or sell on. If I sell on do I sell with as many standard parts or as a rally car?

Both of your current pair look epic, however they also both look very focused, I see a room for a third as a restomod, nice interior, good stereo, aircon, modern motor..

But if you sell, as standard as possible, rally parts sold seperately is what i imagine would bring the most return.

Complete it rally spec, as you've already started. It looks good.

Do it up to whatever spec is worth the most then sell it.

Nice unexpected few quid and you still have your other two.

Feel I may just finish the chassis welding I started a few years ago which included a replacement boot floor from a low mileage 4 door! I do not think new boot floors were available at the time. Then I think I will lay out all the bits I have with options on, gear boxes, axles, carbs etc. From memory bits missing are front legs, front seats, dash top and steering column. And see if anyone wants to complete it. I really should use my time developing the V8 Escort for sprints as the original plan.
