Here is my daily ride which I purchased last November. It is the 2 litre 8 valve model finished in Sherry pearl metallic.
It was totally standard when is purchased it. I’ve carried out a few upgrades, most notably fitting the BMW e30 alloys.

Lovely colour that, and a pretty rare beast (the only variant I’ve not had too).
Didn’t they suffer getting broken for parts as they were seen as the less desirable model of the later models?
I look forward to more updates!

Thanks darkyoung1000, the colour is one of the things that attracted me to it.
Yes Qbee, it’s the nearest I’ll get to owning a TVR

Great colour. Big fan of the looks of the Corrado.

Nice to see an 8v getting some love!

Got it last year off the original owner, Phil, who purchased it new back in 1995 as a retirement present to himself. He and his wife kept it in daily use and loved it.
It was in really nice condition with just a few age related marks. Mechanically it needed a few things sorting, such as diagnosing rough running issue, replacement of heater matrix, sorting out worn suspension and rotten exhaust.
Generally lots of tlc, but it’s mainly sorted now, drives really well. Basically I’m very happy with it.

Dark interior, non sunroof model ( I hate sunroofs)
The light grey headliner was sagging, so I’ve replaced it with black material and spray painted the sun visors. I managed to modify a black interior light unit from an early Corrado to fit. Transformed the inside.

Cheers, colour looks so different when in shade. I believe it was only available for the last year production run.

The 2 litre 8 valve pulls surprisingly well. I owned a VR6 Rado a few years ago which was a beast. This is a good all rounder.

A little bit of Porsche 944 rear about that, if you squint a bit.

On its original Vw alloys, which to me didn’t fill the Corrado’s arches enough, which is why I went for the E30 rims, being 7 inches wide and et24 offset. Wanted to stick with 15’s.

Yes I believe VW put it up against the 944, more so in VR6 form. It was quite an expensive car when new.

The 8v Corrado is a lovely little machine and is much more nimble through the bends than the VR6.

They’re a bit leisurely from a standing start but oddly they absolutely fly from 80-110 when abroad.

It looks like you’ve got a great example there.

The VR6 cost more than a 944 when new!

That’s not just rare, that’s exceptional! smile. Let’s face it, given the amount of times we must have seen ‘tilts but doesn’t slide’ written down, no bad thing either... I’ve got mine to try and fix next year...

I think the wheels are an improvement too, I liked the Speedlines that came as standard on the VR, but never really liked the look of the 6 spokes.
