Thanks, it has the 4.7 High Output. I haven’t bothered to measure the fuel consumption, but it sounds typical V8 good, and goes well enough for what it is.
Nice. Fuel consumption is terrible for both petrol engines and only moderately terrible on the diesel. You don't buy a Jeep for its fuel consumption...Edited by John Locke on Friday 27th November 04:45
I had a WJ(G) 4L 2000 which I sold around 4 years. Mine was bought as a fill in from EBay & stayed for 6 years. Aside from an appetite for radiators, rear axles seals & brake calipers it was fantastic. I did around 12K a year for the 6 years. Petrol was around 16MPG no matter how it was driven. Compared to Land Rovers of the period they are A. much nicer to drive & B. far, far less rust. I loved mine and although a Porsche Cayenne replaced it I still miss the old girl. Oh & there is a great FaceBook WJ group who are a wealth of info on them.

There's nothing wrong with being pedantic, it's just an epithet for accurate, so thanks for the correction; I will be able to annoy many people with that information. /end pedant mode

Only if built in Graz, I believe. As a right hand drive petrol, it would've been built in Detroit so is a WJ. /end pedant mode
All left hand drive European ones were built in Graz and all diesels. Right hand drive petrol stayed at Jefferson North
As far as I remember
