Weird to be back, but I thought I’d give the forums another effort after many years absence and log my journey with a car I had dreamed of owning since it’s release 10 or so years ago.

A quick run down of the car, it’s a 2010 997.2 GT3 Clubsport in Carrara white. It’s said that there are only 15 or so C16 RHD Clubsports in Carrara white.
My particular car has the folding carbon seats rather than the fixed back Carrera GT style (which I’m thankful of) aswell as the usual Clubsport extras.

I had considered a 430 Scuderia but I’d like a RHD one.... which sadly I can’t afford yet, also strangely the GT3 was peanuts to insure for me at 27 (circa £600pa) plus a £200 tracker activation fee, I consider that to be very reasonable compared to some other options I tried.

I collect the car in the next few days which is rather exciting, I’m looking forward to the journey with it and ploughing some miles on it.

Oh wow, congratulations on that one. A dream car for me too but an unlikely one!

Will look forward to further posts once you collect!

Collection day weather was perfecto despite the less than ideal forecast. Can’t wait to rack the miles up on it

That is gorgeous; one of the best looking Porsche's ever.

When I read you were picking it up this weekend I was hoping for you it wasn't going to be in the snow!

Some more miles in this thing now, I cannot get enough of the intake noise.... it is truely sublime.

I’m also really enjoying learning to drive a 911 and using the weight to help you get the best from it.

The car is just about to go in for a full decontamination, paint correction and ceramic coating to help me keep it in reasonable condition during my ownership.
