This has just appeared in the yard. I do some work for the owner, and about four years ago I told him I'd be interested if he ever sold it. I'm pretty sure I was just making conversation, and was surprised when he turned up with it yesterday, and told me it was mine for scrap value if I wanted it.
I've got an ancient Scudo with the same (I think) 1.9 XUD engine, and it has done me proud. The C15 has had the passenger seatbelt slashed in a strimmer theft, and hasn't been on the road for three years. It's done 44000 miles, and is pretty tidy.
I've jump started it and driven it up and down the very lumpy track at work. I don't know what to do with it yet. I'd thought about giving it to my 17 year old son, who's an apprentice tree surgeon, but it's amazingly flimsy, and his mother wouldn't be keen.

I've just realised you can see my dogs arse and the scudo in the same picture. The Scudo cost me £400 five years ago, and has never let me down. The dog, on the other hand, cost me £400 three years ago, and lets me down every day.

I do like these (even more so since seeing the Aston Martin video with a competitive local driving one....).
I think they’re well sort after too, so I’d be interested to see what you do with it. If you don’t need the practicality, there have got to be some fun things to do in terms of engine conversions....

Someone was selling one of these in Facebook not long ago. By the time I’d seen the advert and messaged the guy, it had sold. They don’t seem to appear very often. Yours looks in good condition smile

I've not had a chance to have a proper look at it yet. There's some rust on the sills behind the cab, the heater blower isn't working, and the passenger seatbelt has been cut.
I repair motorhomes for a living, and the demand for our services has gone crazy. People are desperate to get away, and everyone wants their van ready for 12th April. I can't wait until they all go away so I can have a rest.

I’m looking for one of these. Please pm me if you want to move it on.

only 44K on it?

That's fairly insane in itself!

Novel things a visa front end with a box on the back.

I do like a small, well cared for van. I've got no reason or space to own one but i like them.

My dad had a C15 for a few years, just at the point where the Berlingo came out.

Slightly odd choice for an accountant.

I, too, have an irrational wish to have one one day.

I also have an office job. But at least I'm not an accountant.

They're great vans, but not for a man in a hurry. Mine has an aftermarket turbo, so it's not as bad as some. I had an S750 for a while with the OM617 engine, and that was painful.

My second car was a Visa so seeing one of these always brings a smile to my face. I also have an irrational want!

I would keep it and just tidy it up. It'll be a cockroach style vehicle that will go forever. Cracking bargain 👌

I think that many of us who have office jobs harbour secret or not so secret lusts to own small vans, or maybe small pick up trucks, especially if we have no sensible use for them. I have been tempted by assorted odd Japanese and French pickups, and I briefly fell in love with some tiny van that a bloke who had just sold me some furniture let me borrow to drive the furniture home in, but so far I have not succumbed to buying a van or truck.

OP, I know nothing about vans, but cool van.
