New member here, looking forward to browsing the forums and contributing where possible. This is my latest purchase, a 2006 Porsche 987.1S that I’ve had for less than a week. I found a photo of the car on a post from a pistonheads photo shoot, so I imagine a previous owner is a member(?) My daily is a 2016 F10 BMW 520d , so the Porsche will be for sunny days and weekends.

Here’s my car from a forum post in 2010

Very nice! cool I used to run a porker alongside a beemer but I’m down to two cars in the household now.
That looks a lovely example, if those hard backed sports seats are anything like the seats in the 986, they are amongst the comfiest seats I have ever sat in with superb support.
I run an F11 535d as a daily now, they’re a superb car.
What’s the full spec on the Boxster?

Cheers! The Boxster 987.1S has a host of options/upgrades
PASM

The BMW is a 520d Luxury spec and very comfortable.

Nice spec on the Boxster. Full leather really lifts the interior and xenons are always a welcome addition smile
My 5 series is M sport so it’s a bit jiggly at low speeds... I’m tempted by a luxury spec for my next one soon.
One piece of advice do an annual oil change on the Boxster, and keep an eye on the front condensers and radiators, I used to clear leaves out of the ducts every time I washed mine.
I hope you have many happy miles in your new toy. Enjoy! cool

Car looks stunning - both condition, and the fantastic options list. Congrats on the purchase!

I've had mine almost a year now - it isn't an S, just a standard Guards Red 2.7, and not nearly as nicely optioned as this, however I can attest to just how fantastic they are to drive. Look forward to seeing how much fun you have with it!
