Depends whether you needed a hobby or transport
I love Mk1 TT's but they can be a bit needy as they get old, I wish you better luck than I had but get on the TT UK Forum, great bunch, get a VCDS/Vag Com lead.
A colleague I hadnt seen for a while had bought one when I bumped into him recently, remarkably similar experience to myself, but get it all sorted or be lucky and get a good one they really are quite nice.

I have a couple of other cars so can hopefully take my time and do some bits over next couple of months. My first Audi and my first turbo petrol car.

Did you find this on Facebook marketplace by any chance? That numberplate is very familiar, think I was arranging to view it (or one with similar digits) and then opted for a blue example!im about 130 miles in. I was planning on doing the t/belt and w/pump myself, however having just had our first child, my free time is a lot less so i coughed up and had a garage do it. Im still chasing a few niggles, but as a relatively cheap daily its not a bad thing. Im hoping it odes throw any big bills!
