1990 Aston Martin Virage

Good afternoon from Sydney, Australia (more specifically Sydney Airport Terminal 3). I’m currently waiting for my flight to Adelaide.


The purpose of this trip is to buy a thirty year old Aston Martin purely on the basis of an online advertisement from someone I don’t know. Oh, and then drive it almost 1,000 miles back home.

Love threads like this, nothing like taking a sight-unseen car on a long trip! The last time I tried that (1994 Volvo 850 2.5, back in around 2009) we managed 13 miles of the 700 mile trip before needing to call the RAC

I had one of those for about a year, same colours as yours. Lovely car, but very thirsty! I averaged about 12 mpg. I would love another one.
