Hey everyone. I’m VERY new to this sort of thing, iv never used a forum before so forgive me if iv posted in the wrong place etc.

I bought this beauty last October, my first (and certainly not
Last) classic American muscle.

She’s a 1970 Chevrolet Impala.

I’d love to know if there’s any other Impala’s here in the UK, and what/if any modifications you may have done?

I’d like to get her re-sprayed, probably remove the vinyl top and have it down to the metal to match the lower half of the car.

I’d like to upgrade her breaking system from Drums to disc.

I’d like to make her slightly louder, just for personal preference that is, but to be fair she rumbles like mad, even when idle.

So.. what do you guys think?

Wonderful, looks absolutely superb yes

Colour suits it very nicely. And personally I would keep the vinyl, but then I like vinyl roofs.

Have you watched Jonny Smith’s Impala film on Late Brake Show?

I haven’t seen that one, no. Truthfully I
Bought this because I’m a huge Supernatural fan, and I fell in love with the car. Obviously there’s is a 67’, mines a 70. But I shall have to watch that film!

Truthfully, I don’t. But I do have a roomy driveway which houses this, my works van and my fiancé’s Mitsubishi Evo 4

As do I. You know how people buy a house to “get on the property ladder”… well this is my version of that. BecUse my ultimate dream car is a 70’s Charger. But I just don’t think I’ll ever be able to part with this to get one so I’ll have to save every penny I ever earn haha.

The colour id like to do is Tuxedo Black. As is the colour of the 67’ Impala from the TV show Supernatural.

Ah right.

Getting a bit of an Overhauling Chip Foose vibe of the shape of car. Love it.

Now this is a bit of me, I went down to the classic Stars and Stripes show at tatton park yesterday and it was a great day out, anything old and American and I’m happy.

Great original colour, I’d keep the contrasting vinyl too.

Newly imported or been over here a while?

I believe the chap I bought it from in Nottingham was the first UK owner,, he sold this to me so he could import a Plymouth Barracuda
