So, red wine fuelled ebay purchase was picked up this weekend. Classic mini 1275 efi, it was so much better in the flesh than I expected. The trip back on the M62 was interesting. The Yorkshire man who did the work has done a great job. I can't stop driving it. The V8 F Type is boring ??????

What he said.

Got a real soft spot for modified classic minis. I had one as a first car. 1340 engine upgrade with Metro turbo disc conversion at the front, Minifin rears, SPAX adjustables, hi-los, LCB exhaust, stripped interior with Cobra buckets and Willans harnesses, Compomotive 13" five spokes with Yokohama tyres.

I like the nod the early days of the Coopers with the surf blue & white colour combo, very nice choice.

Still miss my 1380 Mini. They are getting a bit pricy for my liking, but still hanker after one

Thanks guys, it a 1995 1275 Sprite efi. Not my handywork, came from a guy in Yorkshire that built it for his sons first car then decided it was too nice to give him. He's a steel fabricator so it's been done really well. Custom dash, reversing camera and USB ports. A few niggles still to sort, ebay has been taking a hammering.

Some more pictures!

New carpets and boot lining arriving tomorrow. Door cards probably next but I don't want to rush it. This has replaced my old M140i daily, for now I'm loving it.

Would that not be rude? I'm willing for a higher or lower game though. Let's start @ £5k

I'll suggest £7500. Higher or lower?

And as a PS, I am very envious. Looks huge fun. Not surprised it has eclipsed the V8 for now; even a basic Mini 1000 was great fun especially without any passengers to add weight!
