Seat Ibiza 1.4 16v Formula Sport 100
Discussion
As per my previous thread I decided to return to the land of the shed. £7k of debt and £130 a month for a diesel that wasn't going anywhere just didn't make any sense
I decided I wanted something a little more fun, and as my bad back has improved dramatically stepped away from the SUV
Step in the Seat Ibiza. The Formula Sport 100 appears to be quite a rare little thing. A previous owner with no spatial awareness means she's a little tatty but as I'm only into it for £800 I'm going to get the rattle cans out and give the bodywork and wheels a bit of a freshen up. Mechanically seems sound though and had the timing belt done at 97k (now on 103k)
Low to the ground means she feels quicker than she is but handles a bit like a go kart after the ponderous Renault Kadjar she replaces

Never heard of the formula sport 100, tell us more about the spec. My dad had a 1.2 version of years, solid little car, my brother in law has it now
1.4 16v, 100hp. Black interior with red trim, trip computer, electric front windows. Apparently only available 2007-2008 in this specSame underpinnings as the Polo of the same era I believe. Suspension is quite firm but very little body roll and corners like she's on rails.
Jobs to do:-
Wheel refurb
Paint on both doors to cover gatepost scratches
Washer hose split - temporary repair made so washers are working until I can get a hose connector
New head unit - needs bluetooth/hands free
Front cup holder broken - needs repair
Headlights need polishing up
Side indicators to replace - one of them is missing the cover and I'm presuming water ingress has killed the bulb. Smoked LED ones on order
Looking forward to making her as tidy as I can. Paid off finance on the Kadjar and £130 a month better off so I plan to invest this in the car over the next 3-4 months prior to MOT
The other plus being cheap to add the 17 y/o onto the insurance for practice once he has had his first few lessons
