My s40 is full of water, sunroof drain, god knows how many gallons are in the foam under the carpet, it needs full interior removal then however long it takes to dry.
I thought I’d get a short term ‘winter car’.
147/159 118/120 all diesels crossed my mind.
Spotted this on gumtree and thought that will do, I like a fiat, viewed, drove, deposit paid, collect tomorrow.
With the 1.9 multijet it is quite sprightly, leather interior is a bit slippery, aircon works.
Quite looking forward to it.

Strangely, I just did a similar job on my old V50 a couple of weeks back. My advice would be to throw the sodden carpets away and just replace them or it'll take weeks to dry out and will likely smell as a result. I did mine in a few hours start to finish, drain repair included.
If I did a sensible thing like that… then I wouldn’t have had to buy another car, another reason is I need to fit a new headliner, be so much easier with an empty car.Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
