It makes the Yaris feel somewhat pedestrian.

I am absolutely not being a dick, that is a great colour for it.... but er.... have you considered debadging it?
That is literally the only thing that puts me off about them.
I quite like the fact it is a Vauxhall, if I debadged it would I not be trying to pretend it was something else ? It is a cut price Elise but it’s half the price of the equivalent supercharged car , thats a lot for a badge ! Yes it’s a Vauxhall but a bloody good one . That is literally the only thing that puts me off about them.

I can never understand how someone's ego could get to a level of fragility that has them worrying about the brand of car they own. That is literally the only thing that puts me off about them.

Don't debadge it... what a dick comment.
I would say though, my personal preference would be a wheel color change.
Back to silver or a light gold / satin color would work really well against the blue.
Don’t worry the badges are staying put . Yes maybe a colour change on the wheels I think black wheels have probably run there course now as a fashion trend , not sure how gold would look , blue paint gold wheels all a bit Subaru Impreza, not to say it’s bad just not sure it wold suit the VX . Love it !!
Dark colour really shows off the lines, silver on these just doesn’t work.
What does it drive and handle like and is it confidence inspiring ?
I very nearly jumped the Griff 500 ship into one of these back in 2008. But ive not driven one yet. There were a few around back then ( an old neighbours pal had one ) but I’ve not seen one on the road for a very long time !
As for the black wheels, my Clio RS182 has black rims and I’m going to get them painted grey.
More photos and updates please.

Whilst you're at it, why not insert an 'I'm not being racist, but...' comment.
Great car OP, looks lovely.
Nice car OP! A friend of mine had one in the early 2000s. Went around Bedford Autodrome in it as a passenger.

What’s a Rover 25 Steptronic? Can’t say I’ve heard of one of those. That is literally the only thing that puts me off about them.
Why don’t you describe it to us?
