Thought I’d start a reader’s car thread for my latest purchase. I say purchase, I actually won it off Dream Car Giveaways 
I used to have a Cosmic EP3 from 2013-2015 which I sold to help towards a deposit for my first house, and have missed it ever since! In the mean time I’ve had an Evo 6 & an E46 M3 but for some reason still really hankered after another Type R. Been playing on DCG for months and then this came up on their page, a “realistic” dream car for me as it essentially has most of the stuff done that I’d thought of doing to my old one. Did the max tickets available (40 @ £1.99) and forgot all about it until I got a phone call one evening as I was leaving work saying I’d won! Absolutely over the moon and then picked it up the following Monday when I’d returned from a work trip abroad.

MeisterR coilovers
Quaife LSD
Japspeed exhaust manifold & 3” exhaust
Decided to get some Evo 8 wheels for it, done to death on EP3s I know but they do look good! Also came with Nankang NS2R’s, the same as I had on my old one so hopefully it should help it handle a little better than the wallowy Toyos it came on.
Will keep this updated as I’m planning to do a few more bits and pieces to it, plus possibly a Ring trip next year and see if I can go quicker than I did in my old one

Not much to add other than I’ve been driving the car more now the weather is a bit better. Added a private plate and a subtle sticker under the Type R badge but not sure if that’s staying.
Need to address some wandery handling, looks like there is some play in the track rod ends and possibly in the front damper bodies which is annoying. Funds allowing, ideally I want to take the coilovers off and put it back on dampers & springs so hopefully will make it much more useable on the road.
