Kharmann Ghia

Purchased this at the beginning of the summer. A 1959 Kharmann ghia. Car is running a 1.6 litre engine.A friend of my brothers had it up for sale and i ended up taking the car off his hands. Just had it back from a specialist near watford and now driving much better.

Not a colour you'd associate with them, but it looks great.

Learnt to drive on a Karmann Ghia, courtesy of my mother. Certainly an eye opener nowadays.

apart from also belonging in the bad parking thread that's a cracking pic - most interesting car there by far
