Jaguar XF Sportbreak - Project X

Last year I purchased a 2019 XF Sportbraek and love the drive and practicality it offers. Even though its in the R-Sport trim, it still looks a little soft in my eyes. Personally I think the wheels are a little small, I'm fully aware changing these will be a compromise with ride comfort but I'm willing to put up with this. I've always been a fan of subtly aggressive estates, RS4, 330 M-Sport Estates, C63, CLS63 Sportbrake. That's why I play to embark on a year of subtle tweaks and mods to turn the Sportbrake into something a little different, it wont be lighting but the looks will be on par with some hope.

I would like to throw this open to you lot to suggest how I may take this forward with what alloys to go with, whether to opt for a custom double twin exhaust, ride height etc The engine will be remapped in time, but for now I'm simply after ascetics.

Nice looking car, I've always been a fan of the XF wagon, looks wise it's always been best of the pack in my eyes.

Personally I'd not bother changing the alloys, just get them resprayed black and that might well achieve the look you're after without any compromise to ride or handling.

A petrol rear bumper with the twin exhaust exits would look nice, expect you'd need a custom backbox making though - AFAIK the 25 (i4 petrol) had them, they were identical to the old XF-S exhausts layout.

This is my old XF. These wheels all day long. 20” doesn’t mess up the ride at all (How Jaguar pulled that off is witchcraft!).

Back in 2016 I ran this shape saloon on 20" from new hence why I'm not that bothered about the ride as I know its something from the dark arts.

The 300 Sport edition has a good road presence and the only real difference is the wheel choice
