HI All

Thought it was about time I showed you my current fleet all together!

So here it is - I think it' the perfect RETRO fleet which is not worth a huge amount of money but gives me the perfect car for every occasion and lots of smiles!

All 3 together !

997.1 C4S
What prompted me to get the cars out today was the 997.1 needed an MOT (2 months overdue.....). Just shows I havent been giving it enough love for a while. Problem is the rounds around here are horrendous in the winter (live in the Northamptonshire countryside) and I like my cars to look clean!!
Anyway, it passed with no advisories!

The 997 is a gen 1 car and is the Carrera 4 S with 375 HP and the wider track rear end. I used to have a 964 many moons ago and this 997 is very evocative of that car. Lovely simplicity, great handling and just about quick enough to enjoy a good blast on B roads. I'd love a Gt3 or Turbo but current wedding plans do not allow!
Its done 77K miles and is in mint condition - I had the rear bumper painted last year after someone nudged into it but other than that I've just looked after it and enjoyed it.
Its a standard car other than the updated double din/Apple carplay stereo. No plans to mess around with it!
Replaces a Maserati 4.7S Quattroporte - amazing car but god you need deep pockets!

RR Vogue TDI V8

I bought this on a bit of a whim a few weeks ago and have actually fallen in love with it.
The driving position is great and that feeling of "go anywhere in luxury" is just fantastic. I've done a few mods........black grill and side gills, 22 inch wheels (I know, I know) - some will love it some will hate it. But for the money, it's a great car!

Audi S4 Avant

Thats just leave the S4. Forgive the state of the car at the moment but this is my daily (or was until the RR came along).
What a car this is! I can't think of any other car that offers the performance and practically of this car for 6K.
This is a MINT condition car (dont let the dirty pics put you off). The car was a former VAG scene show car and was treated to a full windows out respray two years ago. It is a gorgeous bit of kit.
These are prone to timing chain issues but this had a full rebuild 20k miles ago at AmD together with a remap and full Miltek.
The 4.2 V8 makes a fantastic sound and coupled with the Bilstein suspension and 6 speed manual, you can make serious progress over practically any type of road.
The S4 is going up for sale soon as I am simply not using it enough........having to think what to replace it with - fancy some sort of classic project!

Anyway - 3 great cars and I love the fleet!

That is a nice fleet of cars there OP.

Seeing as you live in the countryside and looking for a replacement for the S4 maybe go hot hatch route?

Was looking at all sorts!

CIVIC type R is an itch I'd like to scratch.
But then so to is a mk2 Golf gti as a project!

Civic’s are great for some B road bashing, the lightweight makes them very fun to drive.

If I was to go Golf for a hot hatch, would have to be the Mk5 R32, that V6 and chassis are pretty solid.

That’s a nice fleet.

I feel your pain about living in the countryside. Both of our cars are absolutely hanging after a week of fog, ice and road salt. Chuck in farmers working and it’s a grim combo.

I’ve got a real soft spot for S4’s of this era.
