So after 6 Years of driving various underpowered Company Cars and Vans I decided to treat myself to something with a bit of poke.

Introducing my Seat Leon Cupra 290 Black Edition

I spent a long time looking at various Cars and decided to take a look at the Leon as its such better value than a Golf R

It had to be 290PS, Estate, 2016 or Newer, Alcantara Heated Seats (Factory Option)
The Car is also fitted with the Optional 19" Sub8 Wheels

Hope you like it!

Nice I spent 15 years buying a tuning SEAT/Cupra haven't had one for a while.

My last one (2014) Cupra 280 DSG I ran the APR Stage 2 kit @ 420ps was a nice car.

Lovely.

I had a 290 black 5dr hatch in Dynamic grey for a couple of years with a few small mods.
Always wanted the ST as they look great.

Technically they aren't optional wheels, as they were standard on all Black editions and Sub8s

Absolutely brilliant cars though, I'd have another one in heartbeat (once prices drop back to normal)

I actually thought it was White when buying it until i HPI'd it and it said it was Grey biggrin

Yeah I know they come as Standard on the Black Edition but they seem to be pretty rare to find on a Standard Spec Car thumbup

So i've owned the Car for about 4 Months now and have made a few changes.

Exhaust has been fitted with a VagSport Resonator Delete to unleash a bit more Exhaust Sound as it was terribly quiet as standard

Wheels have been Powder Coated in Anthracite - They were suffering from the usual Diamond Cut Wheel issues.
Tyres have also been replaced all around with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S

I have also fitted a Powerflex Dogbone Insert to reduce Wheel Hop. I cannot understate how much this changed the Car!

And finally today the Car recieved New Rear Discs and Pads, a Ram Air Intake + Turbo Elbow and some Wind Deflectors

Heres how the Car sits today in it;s natural habitat

Nice, I think the police use these in unmarked operations so they must go well.

I had one exactly the same new in 2016. Rapid car and sharp handling. Loved the seats and DCC was a dream. On track it was composed and nible enough to surprise a few more focused machines. Enjoy!
