A deposit was paid on this purple beauty this afternoon.
2006, none worrying mot, under 100k, MANUAL, everything (nearly) works, drives fine.
And now for the negatives… bit battered on the body, only the central dash speaker works.
Picking up later in the week, I shall update then.
Cost me £1800.

I like the way everyone else can see it is purple, standing in front of it and it had to be pointed out to me…

Balance paid on the car, a reduced balance when I found it was a cat s, I’m still happy with it, ownership transferred and car taxed, collecting at 18.10… :-)

They are quite capable things, just check the suspension, my brothers whilst comfortable, one rear shock is on its way out and it makes a bump with any load in the back alarming, I of course found this out first time with a bit of load in the boot and a rather long trailer with a shed on, thought I was off.

I've had two, and despite the image I think they're a fabulous car. Hope you have many happy miles. If probably still be driving my 07 one if I wasn't so impulsive (and enjoyed the process of finding and buying a car)

Had the chance to look her over this morning, there is a slight dampness to the carpets and a smell that reminds me of some of the smells from my days at the maggot farm.
These are known for water ingress in various places, I’ll sort it.
I removed a few kilograms of mud and soil from the o/s wheel arch, the liner is not there, a good used one is on the way.
Old shotgun cartridges, air gun pellets and targets were unearthed from assorted places, there was mention of a previous owner being a farmer.
Disappointed at only finding 12p.
