Lexus LC V8 Non Sport Pov Spec
Discussion
Seems to be couple of recent posts here for new LC ownership. After much deliberation finally bit the bullet on this non sport base LC, car was initially sold before I could enquire but came available again, called up with a few questions, deposit left and picked up a week later - first time seeing one close up let alone driving. As everyone else says an LC in the flesh is hugely different to the photos.
Completely blown away and base spec wants for nothing! heated/cooled seats, heated steering. Car also comes with HUD option. Knowing only sport or S+ came with alcantra I wasnt expecting to see that on the door inserts so nice and the seats are far from disappointing.
That engine howls wonderfully and the whole thing hides its weight very very well. Coming from a C63 its nice to be in something that screams through the tach to the red line - it doesnt feel any heavier and certainly instills a different confidence. The LC feels a pretty special masterpiece and I wasnt quite expecting as much.
Negatives? I was preparing to battle with the entertainment system but actually have found it fine. The touchpads haptic? feedback helps - theres a lot of layers to drill through - one thing that is nice is that it returns to the last setting you were on when you jump back in. Dialling through FM and DAB is a bit tedious. The base sound system after a bit of tweaking is good, better than the Burmester in the MB IMO but still could do with better low frequencies. Not as much thump as a B&W in - my only other reference - an XC90 but still very high quality sound.
Had some reservations buying non-Lexus dealership but they were completely unfounded - the team were really professional there, they had some amazing stock and I wasnt expecting the car to have been so well presented when I collected it.

So, so nice. What's the interior colour?
In black this one.Prices for the base are definitely more palatable and those cars dont hang around. Difficult for me to justify the additional cost for a S or S+ given the generous base spec and engine the same across the 3 specs - especially given the prices today.

They are black :-) I think you can get carbon covers non oem. There is a reasonable amount of black and chrome trim - was thinking to black out the chrome but actually dont mind it.
Will post up some more pics soon!

There seem to be so few in Luxury trim, so would love to see more of it.
