Would love to know the story behind your car and why it floats your boat.

did the car make you feel queasy too?

its an old pic of a bad/stty car taken what 40 yrs ago that had no redeeming features then let alone now and no commentary from the OP as to why he is sad its gone.
Perhaps a potentially interesting part is the OP story behind it which is missing.

That’s a cracking looking car Simon. Remember these very fondly. They were a lot of fun to drive and had a really cool look to them.

Best just to ignore the people who consider themselves to be the font of all knowledge but know nothing about basic courtesy

Chevette HS / HSR were forgotten cars when compared to Escorts and Sunbeam Lotus for no good reason

Sylva Leaders were great cars, wanted to build one when they were current but being a 17 year old at the time could not stretch beyond a Dutton Phaeton S3, the Sylvas were definitely a cut above

As a child of the sixties who learned to drive in 1981 these were legendary. Only saw one on the move once leaving Brands Hatch, driver kindly obliged by giving it the beans and left me struggling in my Renault 4 which was all I could get insurance on at the time.

No idea of current values but I bet these are a fair few quid now.

Still love the sense of single purpose in its shape which leaves no subtlety, no sleeper look with these.

Why are you sad its gone? Thats the interesting part to the story you may have, yet you dont bother. So dont be surprised that some may not be enthusiastic about an old pic of an old car which to my eyes looks dire.

its upto you if want to say why you are sad its gone or what redeeming points are. Clearly you want to keep your story and views a secret.

Its your story behind a pic of an old car that may make it interesting.

I can post a pic of "whatever" car ive owned in the past and may give a reasoned view of it or just an emotional view of it and why to my eyes was the feking bees knees or a pile of ste or the most awesome whatever.

Not a mind reader. (although can tell you like saying NO and NOT a lot - try some Yes its great because of xyz or it made me feel like abc - show some life)

It took me 2 minutes to find out the op had a bike accident in 2001 and is now in a wheelchair and unable to drive.
But carry on.

then thats part of the story for him to tell if he wants. Again not a mind reader.

ah so should I check the history of all posts of other posters before I reply to them just in case it may shed some light on something that may or may not be relevant. Didnt check your history of posts either.

Its a boring pic of an old car. Its useless without the story behind it which the OP clearly doesn't want to give.
