My first week of F - pace ownership

After opting out of the company car scheme which has more or less been BMW’s for many years, the 530e been the last which was a drama free 50k miles.
We fancied an X5 but the latest shape with the options we wanted (used) were just out of budget, ended up with an F-Pace S 3.0d great spec and Jaguar used approved.
I was liking the comfort and effortless torque.
Then my first warning light 4 days in and 300 miles covered, restrictive power mode.
It cleared came back on, Jaguar technician came out, diagnosed a cracked throttle actuator, but he said as cracked he couldn’t replace as not covered, the rage rises….
He takes me down to local dealer, I bought from one down south. I was told they would speak to the dealer I bought from and find out who would cover.
Later Saturday night a Mercedes S class turns up as cover for me, wow what a car, never really given anything like this a second thought but the comfort is on another level.
Roll on Monday, see what happens but my Jaguar experience may be very short.
