Family duties aren't required anymore so out with the Vitara, which has been very good I have to admit and not wanted for anything, and back to my hot hatch roots. I had a bit of a short list to crack on with but I had a trip to the dentist and there was a Ford dealer two mins away so thought I would pop in and have a look to which they had a nice 2018 White Focus ST3 with only 30k on the clock. The car drove spot on and the driving position was excellent, certainly one of the best I've sat in so deposit down and pick it up Thursday.

Nice car. Recaro seats in the fords are always spot on.

Perfect for family duties too if needed. Good purchase.

Nice car. Had my estate over 7 years now and it's been great.

I like the seats but the more... um... heavy set types don't tend to like them! laugh

Well just in case another lady steps into my life and family duties are required again. biggrin I used to have a 2008 ST2 and the seats were very supportive. I picked that one up from Bristol and drove back down to Hampshire and just got straight back out the car again. No signs of ache anywhere. I have heard about these seats being a bit more tight and I'm a chunky monkey, broad across the shoulders, but I fitted in them spot on. At was actually the seats that really did it for me. If you've ever tried to get in and out of an FK2 CTR next to a high kerb, these are a doddle! laugh

Recaros in fords are a good combination. The ones in my ST220 were the best I've ever had.
