My 330d was stolen in Richmond Upon Thames on Boxing Day from Old Deer Park Car park between 1700 and 1900. Estoril Blue with silver mirrors and rear privacy glass.
Small Distinct dent on passenger side where someone had opened their door into it.
Imagine it’s on false plates now but originals were KU16YRO.
Trying to raise awareness if it pops up for sale on the cheap anywhere or is parked up.

Police have informed me that cameras were offline at the time and there are no leads…doubt I’ll see it again now.

Avoiding parking in there again!

Does it have a GPS tracker?

No tracker, but certainly something I’m putting in any future vehicles.

I have a Laserline Guardian. No tag, no start. Might be worth walking the local area/side streets. Normally parked up for a few days to check for trackers before they come back for them.

Yeah certainly look into it. There are ANPR cameras outside the car park where it was parked and didn’t trigger them even when it’s been looked at retrospectively with timings etc so guess it’s on false plates. Would be nice if they crashed it into the Thames as soon as they left the car park and whilst stuck inside it but that’s wishful thinking.

Is this model BMW keyless entry? If it isn't how are they able to nick it without the key?

It’s not keyless entry - my suspicion is they used a blocker/signal reader

It’s not set up, and to my knowledge it’s not an option on this age vehicle

In addition to factory trackers.. i pop one of those airtags in each of my cars, just slip it in the lining somewhere, battery good for a couple of years.

Had one of my cars lifted recently and the manufacture tracker couldnt find it but the airtag did, brilliant little things if someone brushes near with an iphone.

My old 16 plate 320d had it, but it was the updated MY model with Idrive5.

Yeah certainly going to do that from now on. Especially with how cheap the air tags are! Had a look the other day and they are pretty cheap.

When we had our Range Rover stolen, police told us if they don't find it in 48 hours then usually it's never found.

Best of luck!

When my Abarth was stolen (also around Christmas) it was found 6 months later in Bulgaria. That phone call reopened a raw wound!

Sorry to hear about your loss, never a nice feeling, especially at this time of year.
