Having previously owned two F20 M135i's and also (for a brief time) a manual M240i, when I saw this come up for sale I really just had to have it.
An early facelift (LCI) F21 M135i, initially used as a dealer demonstrator with nearly every option ticked. I had my last (also Valencia Orange) M135i for just over three years and it might be nice if I can hang on to this one for a similar amount of time...

I'm always interested when people buy another of the near same car as they had before. I've lots of fond memories of past cars, but I'm pretty sure the rose tinted memories would be followed by disappointment if I bought another of the same. How about you OP, why so many of the same car if you end up selling them again after a short time, won't this one go the same way in short order?

Good question and... possibly... but I've had five (slightly different) MX-5s too - each owned for 3+ years...!
My first m135i was only sold because it needed a new gearbox. The second sold (along with my motorbike) to buy the life dream 911 during Covid. I guess they all have reasons? The 240i was just "not" for me - the manual 'box ruined it I think...

I once bought a Clio 182 when they were only 3 years old and ran it for a year, but it had a load of issues coming up to deal with, so I got rid. Years later a near identical one came up for sale 5 minutes from my house, and it was a third of the price of what I previously paid... so I thought why not give them another go. Luckily it was a great car and had that one for 4 years, including my first ever track time smile always worth a revisit if the right deal comes along!

Thanks Mr Tidy - appreciate it. I have a thing for bright colours, and as this one has pretty much every option (except lane assist) it was perfect.

Colour looks good. So do you prefer the 1 over the 2 series?

About buying the same car again I have done it once but that was because the example I had was a lemon! Made a mistake. On one hand I know what I like so would stick to what I know. But I also think try something different!
