Definitely a love it or loathe it car. I was in the latter camp for a long time, but now see how they were very much of the era and how, as a classic, they have a certain seventies charm.

I think that I haven’t actually ever seen a Camargue in real life.

What was it like to own, ruinously expensive?

I took it with the family twice a year from Buckinghamshire to Newcastle then on the Ferry to Kristiansand Norway to visit my wife's family. Looks more like a Silver Spirit.

The first pic is a Camargue though... Did you have one of each and swap the numberplate across?
