Hi there

Travelled to Alpine Centre Liverpool today to collect my new Alpine A110.
After selling my Abarth Biposto Record Edition a couple of weeks ago I was determined to continue the lightweight two seater format of my last couple of cars.

I had popped into the dealership a few weeks ago while I was in the city on business for a nosey around as I was contemplating a used A110. After a while chatting to their Alpine specialist Ben, seeing this new car in stock in a lovely spec and running the finance numbers, I realised it was within reach so pulled the trigger. The PCP deal was really attractive and actually works out with a lower repayment than a 5 year old car so a no brainer really.

Car is a standard A110 in Abyss Blue (personally a colour I really like as although more historic I was not keen on the traditional Alpine Blue) with a few factory extras including mirror pack, aluminium pedals, tailored mats, parking sensors, blue stitching on leather. It also has the 17" wheels which are quite a rare sight.

I drove the 85 miles home on a mixture of roads including some motorway driving and a few twisty bits. First impressions are superb, car handles well, drives lovely and is very well screwed together.

It will be used for a mixture of heading to car events / shows and also some daily driving. I will keep this thread updated as my journey with the A110 continues.

Regards

Tim

Looks lovely.
The more I see of these the more I think I should try one as a replacement for my 996.

Welcome to the fold, Tim. I'd recommend a geo (see the Life110 website) and then just drive the pants off it driving

That is lovely.
I drove a A110 at an experience day at Thruxton and hands down the best car I’ve driven. No complaints at all with the gearbox in any mode and was amazed how much it moved around during cornering and braking. Just felt so light and lively.
Certainly more memorable (noise aside) than the Cayman I drove around the same circuit.
Realistic dream car for me.

That looks lovely, that colour suits it much more than the lighter blue I've usually seen them in. Also looks just right on the 17s. Enjoy!

Hi there,

So just over a week into ownership and I am really loving this little sportscar.

Thursday saw me make a trip back to the dealers as the car was booked in with their detailers as I was not 100% happy with the paintwork on collection day. After a good machine polish and re-valet I am now much happier.

Sunday saw me meet up with a few more A110 owners for a meet I had organised at Caffeine and Machine. I thought we might have 15 cars together but in the end we had 25 x A110's and 3 classic Alpines, it was a great day out.

great cars that are about so much more than a good colour scheme. (the red doesn't work!!)
but yours is cloud9

I haven't driven the Abarth but I can only imagine the 110 must feel leagues more sophisticated?

They are actually all shades of orange, they just look red in the photos for some reason! I was at C&M and fell in love with the orange!

Amazing to see so many together. Other than at meets I have only ever seen one out on the road.

Hi there,

Many thanks, I’m really happy with it so far

The Abarth was really stripped out and had no creature comforts (no air con, no radio) plus came with a set of harnesses so certainly quite a bit different to the Alpine which positively luxurious by comparison

Fine choice! Just about the exact same spec and colour as mine. Enjoy it. 6,000 miles in and enjoying every mile.
