Well, my 2010 Jaguar XKR surpassed 200,000 miles today and is still a wonderful, enjoyable, beautiful car to drive everyday. And it passed its California smog/emissions test with no problem today, so that I could pick up my registration as well. I've owned my XKR for ten years, put about 140,000 miles of the 200,000 on it during my tenure, and have enjoyed every single one of the miles. What a spectacular automobile Jaguar put together in the X150! I forgot to get off the freeway to take a picture as the odometer was turning over to the 200,000 mark, so I snapped it when I pulled in for the Smog test. Excuse all of the dust on the dash glass (plastic), it's embarrassing.

Here's to the next 200,000 miles as I throw down a nice cold beer.

The biggest issues have been;
1) Water pumps. I'm sure I've had at least 4 replaced.
2) Stuck fuel injectors. Quite scary when all of a sudden it begins to run so rough that it can't be driven 10 feet, with white smoke billowing out of the exhaust and the smell of straight gasoline coming out of the exhaust.
3) Just last week, after a couple of weeks receiving "Check gas cap" warnings on the dash, replacing the cap and still getting warnings, it turned out the Evap pump was faulty and causing a CEL. As I needed a smog check to get my California registration, I had to get it repaired. In order to replace the pump, so much has to come out of the under rear of the car that it's labor intensive. And after installing the new Evap pump, the CEL light came back and it turns out that the new one ordered from Jaguar had a leak (smoke test revealed). so it had to be done all over again.
4) A couple of various sensors over the years (I don't remember which ones)
5) Bluetooth modules replaced twice.
6) Transmission fluid flush three times (really a maintenance item not a problem)
7) Replaced all four shock absorbers once at about 110,000 miles.

Not a bad list for 200,000 miles. I do have my oil changed at no more than 5000 mile intervals.

That’s an impressive list, meaning small for a special car with lots of miles.

Do the waterpumps have plastic impellers, which fail? Alfa had that problem of some cars so owners tend to specify the metal ones when it comes to replacement.

I assume due to your location, rust won’t be a problem so have another happy 200,000 miles. One thing that I didn’t think about with car longevity is the rubber seals, been recommended a German product called gummi something.
