I'm trying find out the identity a car of which I saw two examples whilst on holiday down south but haven't been able to ID.

Basically, it looks (at least to me) like a modern version homage to a Peugeot 403 (the convertible driven by Columbo in the TV series). In fact, the first one that I saw was in sky blue with a white roof.

Whilst it is styled like the classic 403, it seems to me to be a current model due to the look of the panels, light clusters etc. and the fact that it seems to have a removable hard top. So it's essentially a modern car in a classic style.

The rear lights are two chrome-rimmed circles, one above the other, on either side. I think it may be Japanese.

If anyone knows what i'm talking about, please let me know!

Based on a Nissan Micra, driven by women and hairdressers.

...and appreciated by those who value novelty.

I think I'd rather have one of those than a hatch... like a Micra.

Yeah, apparently they're all three-speed autos. Now that IS retro!
