Agreed, good colour. What's the spec on these now, I remember test driving the older variant of the Swift Sport and it was a hoot!
Its very nice to drive Greendubber, a bit tamer than the non hybrid, those are best described as always in sport mode, even though there is no sport mode and it make than a little of pain in traffic driving as they have a way over sensitive throttle, but this one pulls stronger in the low end but the throttle is much better calibrated. Has all the latest safety gear.
Blind spot monitoring
Traffic sign recognition
Radar cruise
Anti collision braking
Lane keep assist
Android auto/Apple car play
Back up camera with parking sensors
2020 onward hybrids like mine
1025kg
officially 129hp/173flbs.
In reality around 145/200
And that's before you add the hybrid 13hp/36flbs
The Suzuki claimed 0-60 of 9ish seconds is straight up lie, CTC who are well know Swift tuners got 7.5 with a full battery charge out of theirs, so high 7s/low 8s with out a fully battery.
2017 to 2019 pre hybrids
These are more desirable.
They don't have Blind spot monitoring, Traffic sign recognition or rear parking sensors, but do get heated seats, the hybrids don't

But weight 950kg, 75 less than the hybrids.
Stock ones on E10 95ron are 152hp, not the 138hp Suzuki claim, and if you run them on E5 99 ron, they give just over 160hp
This why the pre hybrids are much more desirable that the later hybrids and has made them sell for more than the newer hybrids which are much better equipped, but has created a lot of overpriced abused dogs.
Hence my choice to go with the slightly less desirable, but much much much better condition hybrid that's just over 4 years old and has a nice 4 stamp service history.

Need to make your mind up on the numbers, 2 different weights and 3 different power outputs, and then a frankly silly output by putting some decent fuel in it.
If it genuinely did that, Suzuki would ABSOLUTELY be saying it. It's not like the golden oldies where there was a supposedly unwritten rule about some mythical number of 258bhp
I think you are confusing yourself with pre and post 2020 specs, where post 2020 overall power went down, but torque went up with the new 48v hybrid system. But the 60 sprint actually dropped to about 9sec due to the added weight.

OP is referring to two different variants. Hybrid and pre-hybrid explaining different powers and torque figures and its widely known in swift circles that they make over book power figures. We got a 20 plate pre hybrid Swift Sport for Mrs CP last year and it's been brilliant.
No heated seats on ours and I miss not having rear sensors as the camera is crap but it's a perfect sized runaround for her and extremely economical when needed. Our best actual tank mpg has been over 52 and it's averaged over 45 since we've had it, the OBC is pretty accurate unlike my Ford. Fairly sure it's had a remap as it's very sprightly but no proof of that. It came with a HKS exhaust which is fruity but she tolerates it.
Love the blue OP, I think you'll really enjoy it as a good little warm hatch
