Having sold both my E92 330 manual and Megane RS265 within a couple of days of advertising the hunt was on for a single replacement to join the other halfs Velar and my A110S.

Decided I wanted something at no more than 8k, practicality not important and ideally with at least 6 cylinders.

Off on a 3 train journey from Shrewsbury to collect

Any guesses

And first train terminated at Wellington due to a fault, next train means I will possibly miss my next train from New Street - hope it's not going to be one of those days

All wrong so far, recent history of daily drivers to help:

Megane RS265
E92 330
E64 650
Cupra ST 4 Drive
M135i
Saab 9-3 V6

Replacement train managed to get me to Birmingham New St in time for me to get my connection to Nottingham - with time spare to grab a sausage and egg sourdough muffin

Good suggestions so far, did consider a V6 Brera / Spider but £700+ tax was too much to stomach

Practicality? 6 cylinders minimum? 8k?

BMW 330i Touring or a Merc E350i.

Assuming petrol. Those are my guesses

Audi S4?

Love these cryptic journeys to collect a car.

I'm going with an e46 convertible.

Will be a single owner with really low miles, 325 or 330 and in manual.

Boston green, with cream interior.

Or, a z3 or z4.

Practicality is not important but would not have ruled out something estate / hatch / saloon though :-)

As A110 delivers on the dynamic side I was not necessarily looking for a super sharp car dynamically but needed to have a reasonable level of performance

6 or more cylinders for sub 8k, then id presume mercedes, vw, audi or bmw.

Im going with a slightly ropey SL or a vr6 golf.

Nissan 350z, maybe a 70 if they’re in budget but I doubt it.
